Indena Communication Acclaimed By The Italian Society Of Chemistry and Cosmetology

Milan, December 20, 2007 – Indena, the world’s leading company dedicated to the identification, development and production of active principles derived from plants, has won the 2007 Mauro Prevedello Prize, awarded by the Italian Society of Chemistry and Cosmetology (SiCC) for the most effective Italian Cosmetics Research Company.

Indena’s communication work on “Ginkgo Biloba Dimeric Flavonoids Phytosome” swayed the Jury and earned them the prize which bore the following citation: “the communication is rational, clear and concise; the target audience and message are readily perceived as are the product features. It contains clear and well-argued supporting evidence on differentiating and competitive factors and provides useful data for the laboratory and clever tips for marketing. Both its format and its brisk, functional style are well suited to the informative needs a laboratory is presumed to have”. According to Christian Artaria, Indena Marketing Director, communication is merely the final leg of a long journey; “due recognition cannot fail to take into account all the excellent work upstream; which is why I wish to share this award with all those who have made a contribution to achieving it: our botanists, our phyto-chemists, our formulators, our pharmacologists, our patents office, and our clinicians”.
